Good Tape: Writers: Good Tape is a bicoastal magazine and creative studio focused on advancing cultural and critical conversations around the podcast industry. They’re currently accepting pitches for written and visual work for Issue 04: The Chemistry Issue. For written content, rates are $175-$1,050 for digital and $250-$1,500 for print.
PEOPLE: Writers (via Eden Tarnopol): “I'm looking for a few new shopping-obsessed freelance writers to pitch stories and take on assignments for our news and deals commerce team. I'm especially interested in writers with experience covering fashion and celebrity-focused commerce content who can turn around topical, timely stories in just a few days. To apply, please fill out this form with a brief intro about yourself and a few commerce writing clips. Rates vary by assignment type/experience, but start at $300–$350”.

In Development: Writers: In Development is a new magazine examining how progress succeeds - or stalls - across the developing world. Its audience includes policymakers, researchers and development practitioners. The publication is currently commissioning features between 2,000 and 4,000 words. They accept pitches on a rolling basis, but review them at specific times. They will next review pitches starting July 1, 2026. Rate is $2,000.
