Opportunities ✍

Writers (via Nate Hermes): “We are looking for freelance writing support across clients. More specifically, we're looking for writers who can take complex health, science & tech subject matter and make it accessible, human and relatable. This includes great lede writing and an innate understanding of felt experience. Typical outputs are ghostwritten op-eds, contributed articles and social content that bring forward a clinical or business exec's distinct voice and POV”.

Pitch

Clearlink: Writers (via Travis Peterson): “My team at Clearlink has a backlog of blog posts we need written, so I’m looking for freelance writers. If you’re interested, please let me know your rates, and feel free to share with anyone else who might be interested as well; there’s plenty of work to go around”.

Pitch

Works in Progress: Writers & Journalists (via Sam Bowman): “We are looking for journalists and other writers to write reported features for Works in Progress. There are a lot of important stories in the world that we’d like to cover that don’t work as our typical essays, because they require on-the-ground information and insights that only a reporter can uncover. Things like:

• Why has crime dropped so much in Washington, DC?
• What is really happening in Milei’s Argentina? What about Bukele’s El Salvador?
• Why don’t ASML and TSMC raise their prices?

The type of person we are looking for will have already published features like these at a major publication. The work will be on a freelance basis (although we may offer salaried staff writer positions in the future) and pay will be competitive with major publications”.

Pitch

Clubhouse Studio: Copywriters (via Rebecca Juras-Dobson): “Things are hotting up over the coming weeks and we're wanting to connect with freelance digital copywriters with fashion and sport experience to be part of the Clubhouse little black book of go-tos”.

Pitch

Popular Mechanics Writers (via Andrew Daniels): “Hey, feature writers: My team at Popular Mechanics is looking to assign a handful of features for upcoming digital issues, and I’d love to hear the one incredible idea you’ve been carrying around- the story you’ve thought about for years but never found the right home for.”
